Dutch art painter Mark de Kievit (1972) completed education at Graphic Lyceum and started a graphic design career in the advertising industry. Next to designing in pixels, he became challenged by the use of real tangible materials, resulting in unique abstract expressions of art. His paintings are present in private collections throughout Europe.
Mark’s paintings have no predetermined goals or specific themes. What he creates – happens – in which he remains fascinated by the interaction between textures and forms, colors and lights. This results in somewhat raw and powerful dynamic abstract artworks that arise as a visual reflection of the moment he’s in, as he claims to be “busy processing life”.
